graduate research assistant

The more I learn, the more I see how little I know. Grad school at UH was humbling, challenging, and transformative. Working as a research assistant, I taught peers in classes on linear and complex wave theories, physics, and hydrodynamics- none of which I was particularly well-versed in myself. I had no choice but to uncover the mysteries of my field and discovered: the best way to learn is by teaching others.

To me, studying physics feels like another facet of theology. Everything points to the Creator who in His perfect wisdom, controls the winds and the waves.

While completing my thesis and coursework at UH, I had the privilege of working with some of the most brilliant minds in the field. They helped me to persevere through imposter syndrome and grow as a researcher. Now I am no longer afraid when I don't know the answers. Instead, I embark on the journey of discovery again and again.
